Social Events

The conference will be accompanied by several social events, such as dinners and pub visits.

Conference dinner

A conference dinner will be held in one of Oxford's beautiful historic colleges: Somerville College, named after the mathematician Mary Somerville. Located close to the conference venue, its halls and gardens offer an inspiring atmosphere for participants to meet. The dinner will take place on Wednesday, September 11. After a pre-dinner drinks reception, dinner will be served in Somerville's historic 'Reading Room'. – Please note that registration is necessary. Since spaces are limited and will be distributed according to a first-come, first-serve basis, we recommend early registration. The fee for the conference dinner is £50.00 (including reception and drinks).

Punting

There will be a social event on Sunday, September 8, afternoon (the day in advance of the conference): Punting on Oxford's rivers. Details will be announced closer to date. Please plan your arrival accordingly, if you would like to attend.

Further events will be announced closer to the time. Please check this website occasionally for details.
